PRIDE Reading Program is proud to announce that the Tolar Independent School District in Tolar, Texas is now using the PRIDE Reading Program’s structured literacy curriculum for students with dyslexia and specific learning disabilities.

The Tolar Independent School District is a public school district located in Hood County, Texas that currently serves 3 campuses and 850 students in grades PK, K–12.  Implementing the PRIDE Reading Program structured literacy curriculum to address the specific needs of the district’s struggling students will greatly support the district’s efforts to provide evidence-based reading instruction and benefit the district’s students with dyslexia, auditory processing disorder, speech and language deficits and other learning differences.

The PRIDE Reading Program is an evidence-based method that is structured, sequential, multisensory and cumulative. The curriculum explicitly teaches children with dyslexia, auditory processing, and other learning differences how to read, spell, write and comprehend. Many school districts across the United States are using the PRIDE Reading Program structured literacy curriculum with great success.

We are so excited to help the Tolar Independent School District in its mission to provide quality education and meet the needs of all its learners. The district’s Administrative Offices are located at: 305 S. Oak Street, Tolar, TX 76476
