Summer Reading Intervention Program for Struggling Readers
One-to-one Summer Reading Intervention With PRIDE
PRIDE is a one-to-one summer reading intervention program for children struggling with reading and writing, including children with dyslexia and other learning differences. Families seeking multisensory, phonemic Orton-Gillingham support can choose online instruction available throughout the United States and worldwide or in-home instruction in California. The program runs Monday through Friday for two hours a day across four to six consecutive weeks. Speak with a PRIDE Reading Specialist during a free consultation to discuss your child’s needs, then use the PRIDE online placement assessment to find the right starting point. Families can also learn more about dyslexia before deciding whether the program is a good fit.

Who the Summer Reading Intervention Program Is For
PRIDE’s summer reading intervention program is for children struggling with reading and writing, including children with dyslexia and other learning differences, and families seeking one-to-one multisensory, phonemic Orton-Gillingham support.
At PRIDE, we offer fantastic summer programs to give students a giant boost in their weakest areas:
- One-on-one reading, writing, and comprehension programs utilize our multisensory, phonemic, Orton-Gillingham approach.
- Help kids in a way that a regular summer school program would not.
- Specifically addresses Dyslexia and other learning differences.
- Dramatic results – students can progress one entire reading level or more in 4 to 6 weeks!
- Our In-Home and Online Intensive sessions are two hours a day, Monday through Friday.
- There is still plenty of time in the day to play, go to the beach, the lake, or just relax.
Families researching summer reading loss can read our summer reading loss guide for struggling readers. Educators can also explore how to run an Orton-Gillingham summer reading camp.
