The PRIDE Reading Program is thrilled that Plainview-Elgin-Millville Community Schools in Minnesota have started using the PRIDE Reading Program, structured literacy curriculum for students with dyslexia and specific learning disabilities.

P-E-M Community School serves the Pre-K through high school student population for three communities. Their school has 1,500 students in grades Pre-K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 16 to 1. Implementing the PRIDE Reading Program structured literacy curriculum to address the specific needs of the district’s struggling students shows their commitment to their motto, “We’re here for kids. Every child. Every day.”

The PRIDE Reading Program is an evidence-based method that is structured, sequential, multisensory and cumulative. The curriculum explicitly teaches children with dyslexia, auditory processing, and other learning differences how to read, spell, write and comprehend. Many school districts across the United States are using the PRIDE Reading Program structured literacy curriculum with great success.
