PRIDE Reading Program is an approved provider in the Education Savings Account Program (ESA+) for the 2022-2023 school year. The Education Savings Account is a program established by the North Carolina General Assembly. This program provides scholarships to families in North Carolina to cover educational expenses for a child with a disability. These funds can be used towards the PRIDE Reading Program curriculum and PRIDE’s tutoring services.

PRIDE Reading Program is a structured literacy program designed for students with dyslexia and other reading difficulties. The unique curriculum PRIDE has developed uses the principles from the science of reading and the highly-regarded Orton-Gillingham method. Many students across the United States are using the PRIDE Reading Program structured literacy curriculum with great success.

The PRIDE Reading Program not only simplifies reading instruction using evidence-based best practices for struggling readers, but it does so with a flexible curriculum which home schools and districts can adapt to their own needs using the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority funding.

The primary eligibility criteria for the North Carolina ESA+ program is an Individualized Education Program (IEP) from a North Carolina public school  Each student with an IEP in a family may apply for the ESA+program.
