The PRIDE Reading Program is excited to announce that Lytle Independent School Distric in Lytle, Texas has started using the PRIDE Reading Program, structured literacy curriculum for students with dyslexia and specific learning disabilities.
Lytle Independent School District is located outside San Antonio, TX. It serves 1,698 students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade, with a student-teacher ratio of 15 to 1. Implementing the PRIDE Reading Program structured literacy curriculum to address the specific needs of the district’s struggling students shows their commitment to their vision of being “a place where students maximize their potential as active agents of their learning.”
The PRIDE Reading Program is an evidence-based method that is structured, sequential, multisensory and cumulative. The curriculum explicitly teaches children with dyslexia, auditory processing, and other learning differences how to read, spell, write and comprehend. Many school districts across the United States are using the PRIDE Reading Program structured literacy curriculum with great success.
