PRIDE Reading Program is proud to announce that Lincoln County School District is now using the PRIDE Reading Program’s structured literacy curriculum for students with dyslexia and specific learning disabilities.

Lincoln County School District is located in the mountainous area of eastern Nevada. This rural district serves 951 students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade, with a student-teacher ratio of 11 to 1. Implementing the PRIDE Reading Program structured literacy curriculum to address the specific needs of the district’s struggling students is a great step in achieving the district’s goal of 90% of 7th grade students reading proficiently by 2025.

The PRIDE Reading Program is an evidence-based method that is structured, sequential, multisensory and cumulative. The curriculum explicitly teaches children with dyslexia, auditory processing, and other learning differences how to read, spell, write and comprehend. Many school districts across the United States are using the PRIDE Reading Program structured literacy curriculum with great success.

We are so excited to help Lincoln County School District in its mission to meet the needs of all its learners. The district’s Administrative Offices are located at: 1151 Edwards St, Panaca, NV 89042.
