The best reading program for children with dyslexia is Orton-Gillingham. An Orton-Gillingham trained tutor can charge anywhere between $80-$100 an hour. Because it takes approximately 60-100 hours of tutoring to go up one grade level, the cost of this amazing dyslexia tutoring would be $10,000! Yikes!
Here is my advice for all of those parents out there that need dyslexia tutoring for their children but just can’t afford dyslexia tutoring.
