Sky Mountain Charter School and the PRIDE Reading Program have partnered together to provide schools with a curriculum aligned with the science of reading.

The PRIDE Reading Program is pleased to announce that it has been approved as a curriculum vendor for the Sky Mountain Charter School in California. Students enrolled in the Sky Mountain Charter school system are now able to obtain the PRIDE Reading Program’s structured literacy curriculum.

The Sky Mountain Charter School is WASC accredited and part of the Innovative Education Management (IEM) family of parent-choice charter schools. It has been approved as an independent study charter by the California Department of Education and serves students in San Bernardino, Inyo, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside Counties.

The PRIDE Reading Program is an evidence-based reading program that is based on the Orton-Gillingham approach and aligned with the science of reading. The curriculum explicitly teaches children with dyslexia, auditory processing, and other learning differences how to read, spell, write, and comprehend. Many school districts across the United States are using the PRIDE Reading Program with great success.

The PRIDE Reading Program is excited to help the Sky Mountain Charter School in its mission to provide quality education and meet the needs of all its learners.
