Letter Tiles
Please Note: There will be blank green and white tiles. DO NOT THROW THEM AWAY! They will be used for the Sound Tiles Activity for Yellow and Orange Book.
Before you start teaching your student, please categorize your letter tiles by book level. For letter tiles, you are always going to lay out your beginning consonants and then include the sounds that you have taught or the sounds that you are going to be working on that day. It is important to make sure that you are not laying out all the letter tiles so that the student is not overwhelmed.
- Beginning Consonants (b, c, d, f, g, h, j, k, l, m, n, p, r, s, t, v, w, x, y, z)
- Short Vowels (a, i, o, u, e)
- Digraphs (th, sh, ch, wh)
- Floss Rule (ff, ll, ss, zz)
