The PRIDE Reading Program has announced that Oxnard School District located in Oxnard, California has implemented the PRIDE Reading Program, structured literacy curriculum for students with dyslexia and specific learning disabilities.
Oxnard School District currently has 16,134 students enrolled in grades K-8. The Oxnard School District will be utilizing the PRIDE Reading Program, structured literacy curriculum to address the specific needs of the district’s struggling students and students with IEP’s.
The PRIDE Reading Program is an evidence-based method that is structured, sequential, multisensory and cumulative. The curriculum explicitly teaches children with dyslexia, auditory processing, and specific learning disabilities how to read, spell, write and comprehend.
